Program Prerequisites

Primary Care Paramedic Program

*IMPORTANT*
This page concerns the new 1-year PCP program that is replacing our current full-time and part-time courses on November 1, 2024.

Program pre-requisites are set to ensure those entering the program have the essential skills, knowledge and experience to succeed in the program. If you do not meet a requirement below, but believe you have other training or experience that meets it, please email our program team to discuss a Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) application. Note that due to the large number of inquiries we receive each term we cannot accept PLAR applications until a candidate has applied to the program.
